Skyen Systems Pty Ltd (ACN 701 564 730 · ABN 19 701 564 730), a company registered in Victoria, Australia, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

This policy applies to skyensystems.com, to enquiries and project discussions conducted by email or call, and to information we hold about clients we deliver projects for. It does not cover the separate products we build — such as Make My Lesson or Worksheeta — which each have their own privacy policy.

• Enquiry and contact details — name, business name, email address, phone number, and the content of your enquiry, when you use our contact form or book a discovery call

• Client and project information — business details, project requirements, brand assets, and any content or data you give us to deliver your project

• Billing details — invoicing information and payment records. We do not receive or store your full card number; that is handled entirely by Stripe.

• Technical information — IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited on our website

• Correspondence — emails and messages you send us during an engagement

Directly from you — through our contact form, a discovery call, email, or during the course of a project. We collect technical information automatically when you visit our website. We do not buy personal information from third parties.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client project information for any purpose beyond delivering and supporting that project, unless you separately agree otherwise (for example, if you agree we may reference the project in our portfolio).

Under our Terms of Service, we may display completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to. Where we do, we will not include your confidential business information, and will use only what you have agreed we may show.

Australian Privacy Principle 8 requires us to tell you where personal information may be disclosed overseas. Our engineering, design and delivery team is based in Pakistan, as part of our group's delivery centre, and project information may be accessed there to deliver your work. Some of our website and infrastructure providers operate in the United States.

Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a way consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We use cookies necessary for the website to function, and analytics cookies to understand website usage. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including access controls limiting who on our team can see client and billing information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@skyensystems.com. We will respond within 30 days, and may need to verify your identity first. Where we are required to keep certain records by law — billing records in particular — we will tell you if we cannot delete something in full.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at privacy@skyensystems.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

From 10 December 2026, new transparency obligations under the Privacy Act may require us to disclose, in this policy, if we use automated systems to make or substantially assist in making decisions that could significantly affect an individual's rights or interests. We will update this policy before that date to reflect any such obligations that apply to us, once regulatory guidance from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner is available.
